SMImport suite is a set of elements that could import information into TDataSet (almost any descendant) by an assortment of different document formats, as explained in the table.
Most parts support either loading from file and flow so that you can load from memory/blob/CGI flows and/or in multi-tier environments.
The SMImport suite also includes a user-friendly wizard, the TSMIWizardDlg () part, a self-explanatory wizard that guides end-users to import any info run-time through a user-friendly interface to help with load parameter configurations. This element gives your user complete control over the whole data import procedure through a few simple mouse clicks. Drop the component onto a form and implement it on a suitable button (or other consumer actions as you see fit).
As a programmer, if you require, you might limit the access (read, write, conceal ) to some import setting in the wizard for users.
