Snowy Christmas Action By Alkinos (TXT, JPG, PAT, PNG, ATN)

This Photoshop action will add realistic snow fx to any object. It can also be used as a Christmas Wish Card with background Trees or Stars.

You can edit the text of this article.

• Easy to use/Organized

Simply name your object "object" in lowercase, in English, and hit play. The action will continue until you find the "Xmas Tree.png". Place it in a place you choose, and the action will end.

• It is easily customizable

All layers can be changed, colors added or removed, snow layers can be added or removed, and 2 types of snow can also be added or removed.

• All objects are compatible (Layers and Text, Smart Objects).

It doesn't matter if your layers are text, smart objects, or rasterized.

• Layer styles and editable content

Editable layers, colors, and patterns are all available. Text can be edited as well.

• Uses:

Text, Logo, Logos and Product Images, Advertisements, Illustrations.

How to:

• Before you start creating: Please refer to the "HOW TO BEGIN & INSTALL.txt".

Important

• Keep in mind, however, that Photoshop files should only contain 2 layers.

1) Name your main object to which you wish to add snow, in lowercase letters.

2) One Background (If you don’t have a background named "Background", please create one.

• Your canvas should measure approximately 2.000 to 3000 pixels in width and height. The object you choose should be about 2/3 the size of the canvas.
• You should set the Photoshop file in "RGB" and "8 Bits" modes (please go to "ImageMode") to see these settings. However, the action will convert the file automatically, so in some cases, the action may not work.
• If you experience any errors in the action, please review them and start a new file.

General information:

• If you have small objects or a canvas, the action will produce different results.
• Keep these things in mind if you get a terrible result.

1) The object must be large and should have sharp edges. Blurred objects may not yield good results.

2) Your canvas size and/or "object" are very small.

• It is a good idea to first scale your logo or object to fit on a large canvas (about 2.000 pixels), then play the action and then scale it back down.
• Photoshop versions older than CS 6 will not work
