Throughout this course, you'll gain the skills to transform your layered illustrations into captivating animations using Procreate Dreams. This groundbreaking animation app offers a one-time purchase model with no ongoing subscriptions, equipping you with all the necessary tools to craft professional animations.

Here's what you'll learn in this class:

• Navigate the app's interface, settings, hidden menus, modes, and gestures to streamline your workflow.
• Set up your movie files and import your layered illustrations from Procreate to Procreate Dreams, converting them into layered animation tracks.
• Adjust settings to simplify working with tracks and ensure a straightforward process.
• Explore draw and paint mode, including importing and utilizing color palettes and brushes, and understand how drawing layers interact with animation tracks.

Next, we'll dive into a series of animation exercises, transforming a pre-prepared Procreate illustration titled "Social Media for Cats" into an animated movie.

Throughout this project, you'll learn to:

• Create an animated title incorporating text, audio, video, and layer masks.
• Apply keyframes for motion and live filters.
• Utilize performing and the flip book in draw and paint mode to breathe life into your animation.

Don't fret if you're new to animation, all necessary project files, brush palettes, video, and audio files are included in the class resources tab. All you need to embark on this journey is an iPad, the Procreate Dreams app, and a stylus (preferably the pressure-sensitive model of the Apple Pencil for optimal results).
