In this class, we'll blend the timeless allure of vintage botanical prints, black and white photos, and the vibrant hues of pop art to craft contemporary acrylic paintings from your floral images. Even if you don't have specific pictures, I've included three flower images as templates.

Here's a glimpse into what we'll cover:

• Create a vintage background using a kitchen sponge.
• Remove the background from your photo and convert it to black and white using Adobe Express on your phone.
• Print your image using a laser printer or photocopier.
• Transfer the printed image to your painting using acrylic medium.

Image transfer, distinct from other methods like block printing, ensures photorealistic detail and grayscale. It operates like a collage, transferring only the printer toner to create a transparent image.

By merging analog and digital techniques, you'll only need basic acrylic painting skills to produce realistic artwork from your photos.

In this class, I'll guide you on:

• Painting smooth gradients and soft edges using a sponge technique.
• Enhancing colors with saturation contrast.
• Cropping images and converting them to black and white.
• Merging a print with an acrylic painting through image transfer.
