Adobe Illustrator can be used to complete a variety of tasks in design. Because of this, the course will teach fundamental concepts and methods that can be used in any workflow used in print web or print objects that find their way into other programs. Professor Tony Harmer explains the elements that comprise the artboard, including basic forms, transforming objects, and much more. He talks about vector graphics--paths fills and strokes. He also shows how to utilize the Illustrator drawing tools. He shows how to mix and clean up paths, and then organize them into layers and groups. Tony also teaches editing text, working with colors, expressive brush drawing effects, and more.
