Cartoon Character Design with Affinity Photo 2: The ability to create an ensemble of characters that share a typical style is crucial for a successful career working in 2D art for animation, film, and games.
We'll use Affinity Photo 2 to draw and paint two-dimensional character designs. You are welcome to use similar image editing software, as long as they can be used using a tablet with a digital pen. We'll be using an easy, cartoony look of characters, all suited for a science lab.
Learn from the instructor or choose your theme and set of characters. You'll be taught how to make sketches based on your chosen theme and then improve your line art before drawing the character. It's also possible to add some whistles and bells to the final picture to help it stand out, share, and present it.
