Nu.Wav Rigo's Mando: Rigo's Mando is a sample pack created by Nicaraguan-born, Puerto Rico-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter Rigoazulado. It is comprised of loops and one-shots that challenge the limits that the mandolin can be used as a musical instrument. It ranges from traditional folk patterns, emotional trigger pizzicato, and tremolos, to a variety of bass loops, one-shots of percussion, and extremely processed sound effects.
The recording was recorded using Warm Audio 25, a tube condenser mic, and the RME Babyface Pro FS to ensure that it was clear and uncluttered. The processing was further done within Ableton Live using stock plugins, Arturia FX Collection, and Eurorack audio processors.
Overall, the pack is full of natural and innovative sounds that hold the potential to provide an extra dimension to your music at any point in your process, regardless of whether you require inspiration from one of the chord progressions, or ear sweeteners from the tremolos that have been processed, or clean and straight-forward single-shots.
